I played around with the scratch program, and managed to get stretch blocks into the program! (Amazingly without crashing my computer!) And it still worked with the uploader! So if you download this, you can add stretch blocks to your sprites. HOWEVER!!! Using these blocks means your projects will not work online!!! They will have to be downloaded to work, because since we can't make custom blocks yet, using any means that the website will be confused by them. Look at my teleport test project, for instance. http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/metagrosslord/1695934 Works fine downloaded, but online it dies. Also, the blocks will appear in the list color rather than the purple they would be expected to appear and they won't appear in the sidebar.
